One of my favorite books of 2015 was Marie Kondo’s book, “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing.” It was one of the most ground-breaking books about organizing that I had read in over 10 years. As you are looking for inspiration in the New Year I would suggest finding a copy of this book to read. You will look at the way you organize objects in a whole new way. Instead of focusing on what to throw out, focus on what you love and want to keep. The rest will fall into place naturally by getting donated or tossed. I donated 8 bags of clothing and accessories immediately after attacking my own closet with her method because it was so inspiring and easy to follow. If you have already read this book, please share your stories of how it helped you.
